Future trends in health interventions

Kraków, Poland May 29 – June 1, 2023

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committees of the Central European Biomedical Congress (CEBC), it is our great pleasure to invite you to join the 5th CEBC held from May 29 till June 1, 2023, in Krakow, Poland.
The mission of the CEBC is to link clinicians, physicians, pharmacologists, biologists, biotechnologists, chemists and toxicologists, sharing the common goal to exchange of ideas and concepts. For almost 10 years CEBC attracts a growing number of international attendees from around the world to share best research discoveries and clinical practices that will shape the future of our field and raise the standards of medical service.

This is the fourth time as Krakow hosts a biennial congress organized by the two local scientific institutions – the Maj Institute of Pharmacology Polish Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University Medical College. The Congress in 2023 builds on the success of the 4th CEBC 2021 on-line meeting with over 500 participants and the in-person events at 2nd and 3rd CEBC, each attracting over 300 participants from more than 20 countries.

The 5th CEBC is organized around the theme “Future trends in health interventions”. Key health trends, original biomarkers, novel approaches in diagnostics as well as innovative treatment strategies will be highlighted by a specially selected line-up of world experts to deliver plenary lectures and keynote session. Congress also promotes opportunities for junior scientists to present research in oral or poster sessions.

When enjoying the opportunities to learn and network at 5th CEBC, you will also have the chance to explore Krakow. Called the “Cradle of science and culture”, Krakow is a transformational city with a vibrant culture, alive with history and cutting-edge architecture from the medieval old city and the Wawel hill through to modern sites. The intellectual potential of Kraków includes 24 universities, and more 200,000 students, including Nicolaus Copernicus. Kraków is also the most popular Polish tourist centres with 7 million tourists visiting our city every year.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 5th CEBC for an inspiring and joyful experience to advance biomedicine field a step further!
